Ardelyx completed enrollment ahead of schedule in its Phase 3 ACCEL trial of IBSRELA (tenapanor) for adults with chronic idiopathic constipation. Topline results are expected in the second half of 2027 and will assess the drug’s safety and sustained relief of constipation.
2. Current approval
IBSRELA is approved in the United States for adults with irritable bowel syndrome with constipation, but not for chronic idiopathic constipation.
