Arq Appoints Shimon Steinmetz as CFO with 250K RSAs, 150K PSUs
ARQ•Arq has named Shimon Steinmetz as EVP and CFO, awarding him 250,000 RSAs vesting in two and three years and 150,000 PSUs tied to $8/$10/$15 VWAP milestones. Stacia Hansen will resign as Chief Accounting Officer effective June 12, 2026.
1. Appointment of Shimon Steinmetz as CFO
On May 27, 2026, Arq named Shimon Steinmetz Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Steinmetz brings over two decades of corporate finance, capital markets and operational leadership, including CFO tenures at Finjan Holdings and PE-backed Vesta, and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
2. Inducement Equity Awards Terms
In connection with his appointment, Arq approved inducement awards consisting of 250,000 restricted stock awards vesting with 75,000 shares on the second anniversary and 175,000 shares on the third anniversary, plus 150,000 performance share units vesting in three equal tranches upon achieving a 30-day VWAP of $8.00, $10.00 and $15.00 before the third anniversary.
3. Resignation of Chief Accounting Officer
Stacia Hansen will step down as Chief Accounting Officer effective June 12, 2026. Her resignation was not due to any disagreement regarding the company’s operations, policies, practices or financial reporting.
