Circle’s USDC Added to Cash App, 25% Rollout and Nium Partnership
CRCL•Circle’s USDC is now supported on Cash App across Ethereum, Solana, Polygon and Arbitrum with zero transfer fees. A phased rollout has reached 25% of Cash App’s 60 million users with $2,000 daily and $10,000 weekly caps, while Circle also linked USDC settlement to Nium’s global payout network.
1. Cash App USDC Integration
Cash App now supports Circle’s USDC on Ethereum, Solana, Polygon and Arbitrum, allowing users to send and receive stablecoins with zero transfer fees and automatic conversion into dollar balances.
2. Phased Rollout Details
The phased rollout covers 25% of Cash App’s 60 million users, with plans to reach full availability by June and transaction caps set at $2,000 daily and $10,000 weekly per user.
3. Nium Settlement Partnership
Circle joined forces with global payouts provider Nium, integrating USDC settlement into Nium’s infrastructure to expand cross-border payment capabilities and drive broader stablecoin adoption.
