ARS Pharmaceuticals Elevates Donn Casale to CEO After Founder Lowenthal's Decade-Long Tenure

The board of ARS Pharmaceuticals announced that co-founder and CEO Richard Lowenthal will step down as an employee and officer effective July 6, 2026. President Donn Casale has been appointed CEO and director effective July 7, 2026 to guide the company’s next phase.

Donn Casale brings more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical leadership, including building Dynavax’s HEPLISAV-B vaccine to over $300 million in annual revenue and more than 50% U.S. market share. He also supported the commercialization of GRALISE®, NUCYNTA® and led strategic roles at Merck.
