1. Trial begins
Arvinas has dosed the first patient in a Phase 1/2 trial of ARV-6723, an oral PROTAC designed to remove HPK1, a brake on immune activation. The program expands the company into immuno-oncology.
2. Study design
The trial will test ARV-6723 alone and then with pembrolizumab in patients previously treated with checkpoint inhibitors who lack standard options. It is intended to generate initial safety, drug-behavior and early antitumor readouts; no clinical results have been presented.
3. Preclinical findings
Preclinical work showed immune activation and tumor-control signals, including in models resistant to anti-PD-1 therapy.
