Ascendis Pharma’s TransCon CNP wins CHMP backing for pediatric achondroplasia
ASND•The EMA’s CHMP recommended once-weekly TransCon CNP for children aged 2 and older with achondroplasia and open growth plates. A European Commission decision is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026, with a German launch under the YUVIWEL brand planned for the first quarter of 2027, subject to approval.

The EMA’s CHMP recommended Ascendis Pharma’s once-weekly TransCon CNP for achondroplasia in children aged 2 and older with open growth plates. A European Commission decision is expected in the fourth quarter of 2026; subject to approval, the first EU launch under the YUVIWEL brand is planned in Germany for the first quarter of 2027.
