1. Results and outlook
Ashland’s fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 adjusted EBITDA rose 2% to $121 million, as weaker manufacturing performance in Specialty Additives offset growth elsewhere. Management forecast fiscal 2027 adjusted EBITDA of $405 million to $435 million and ongoing free cash flow conversion above 40%. Capital spending could reach $140 million, versus $90 million previously, as HEC capacity projects move forward. Weak output at Hopewell is expected to create a $5 million first-quarter carryover impact; management expects subsequent improvements to more than offset it.
