Asiana Airlines to borrow KRW 380 billion from Woori Bank, MUFG
MUFG•Asiana Airlines authorized KRW 380 billion in additional short-term borrowings, including KRW 100 billion from Woori Bank and KRW 280 billion from MUFG. Total short-term borrowings will rise to KRW 1.58 trillion from KRW 1.2 trillion.
1. Additional borrowing
Asiana Airlines authorized KRW 380 billion in additional short-term borrowings on Nov. 3, 2026, for operating funds and other purposes. The financing comprises KRW 100 billion from Woori Bank and KRW 280 billion from MUFG. Total short-term borrowings will increase to KRW 1.58 trillion from KRW 1.2 trillion; the additional borrowing equals 36.89% of equity.
