Auddia's Discovr Radio Draws 65+ Demos, Plans 2027 Expansion in Toronto
AUUD•Auddia’s Discovr Radio session at Toronto’s Departure Festival drew over 65 demo submissions—double the format’s capacity—and standing-room attendance, making it one of the most attended Departure House events. The company is negotiating expansion of its AI-driven artist discovery format for the 2027 edition and names Toronto a strategic growth hub.
1. Toronto Debut Success
Auddia’s Discovr Radio launched its first branded activation at the Departure Festival + Conference in Toronto, generating over 65 demo submissions—double the format’s capacity—and standing-room attendance at Departure House, marking it as one of the highest-attended sessions at the event.
2. AI-Driven Demo Sessions
The “Press Play!” listening session enabled emerging artists to present tracks to U.S. and Canadian industry decision-makers, receive real-time feedback, and access Discovr Radio’s AI-driven placement and playability data, a model refined after SXSW earlier this year.
3. Growth Hub Expansion Plans
Buoyed by the strong response and depth of industry engagement, Auddia is in active discussions to expand the demo-listening format for the 2027 festival and pursue additional partnerships across Toronto, positioning the city as a strategic growth hub for its AI-powered music-promotion platform.
