1. Production and fleet expansion
More than 20 driverless trucks are built and entering Aurora’s fleet, supporting expansion toward annualized production capacity exceeding 1,000 trucks. Production with upfitting partner Roush is expected to reach 20 trucks per week in early December.
2. Customer commitment and cash
Charger Logistics signed a nonbinding memorandum to own and operate 500 Aurora Driver-powered trucks, with deliveries expected in 2027 and 2028. Aurora ended the third quarter of 2026 with more than $1 billion in cash and short-term investments.
3. Federal exemption
A five-year federal exemption permits Aurora’s driverless trucks to use cab-mounted warning beacons instead of manually placed roadside warning devices.
