AutoNation appoints Ravi Simhambhatla chief technology and AI officer
AN•AutoNation appointed Ravi Simhambhatla chief technology and AI officer, effective Oct. 1, 2026. He will oversee the company’s technology, data science and AI agenda.
1. Technology leadership appointment
Simhambhatla was executive vice president and chief digital and innovation officer at Avis Budget Group, where he oversaw global technology and cybersecurity. He previously advised enterprises at Google Cloud and held technology leadership roles at United Airlines, Aer Lingus, Tesla and Virgin America.
