AutoZone Q4 FY26 EPS rises 15.1% to $56.05; net sales climb 5.6% to $6.6 billion

AutoZone posted fiscal Q4 net sales of $6.6 billion, up 5.6% year over year, while same-store sales rose 1.5%.
Diluted EPS climbed to $56.05 from $48.71, and net income increased to $931.6 million from $837 million.
Margins, full-year results and store growth
Gross margin widened 1.82 percentage points to 53.3%; operating expenses rose to 33.4% of sales from 32.4%.
For the fiscal year, net sales rose 7.4% to $20.3 billion, while diluted EPS increased 5.3% to $152.55.
The company opened 175 stores in the quarter, ending with 8,031 locations. CEO Phil Daniele said sales strengthened in the last eight weeks.
