AWS, Nvidia expand partnership with plan to deploy 2 million additional GPUs in 2027-2028
NVDA•AI factories and broader platform integration
The plan includes AI factories for the U.S. government, including 100,000 GPUs on secure AWS infrastructure for national-security workloads.
The partnership also brings Nvidia Vera CPU-based infrastructure to AWS, broadening compute options alongside AWS custom silicon.
The companies will deepen platform integration with the AWS Nitro System, Elastic Fabric Adapter, data analytics acceleration and Nemotron open models on Bedrock.

AWS expanded its strategic collaboration with Nvidia to deploy 2 million additional GPUs across AWS global infrastructure in 2027-2028.
The rollout targets Blackwell Ultra, Rubin and Rubin Ultra GPUs to meet rising demand for agentic AI, enterprise automation, scientific computing and robotics.
