Bank of America names Kameyama co-head of Japan financial institutions banking
BAC•Bank of America appointed Tetsu Kameyama co-head of its Japan financial institutions investment banking business alongside Kenichiro Suzuki.
1. Joint leadership appointment
Kameyama, based in Tokyo, will report to Japan investment banking co-heads Yuta Komori and Akihiko Manaka, and to Asia-Pacific financial institutions investment banking head Michael Evans. He joined Bank of America in 2006 and has advised Japanese banks and insurers on mergers, acquisitions and fundraising deals.
2. Sector experience
Suzuki has led the bank’s Japan financial institutions business and helped build client relationships and advisory work in the sector. The two executives will jointly lead the business, which advises banks, insurers and other financial companies. Evans said they bring deep sector expertise and strong client relationships.
