Baozun Cuts GHG Emissions 27%, Deploys Photovoltaics and AIGC Service
Baozun reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 26.96% from its 2021 baseline while deploying photovoltaic systems across four parks. The company rolled out an IoT energy management platform, achieved ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality certifications for two parks and unveiled an AIGC-powered customer service coaching system.
1. ESG Performance
In 2025 Baozun cut its Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 26.96% against a 2021 baseline, excluding Gap China. Three industrial parks earned ISO 14064-1 greenhouse gas verification, while Yishang and Tuopu parks achieved ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality certification.
2. Renewable Energy and Management
The company installed photovoltaic power systems across four industrial parks and launched an autonomous vehicle fleet. A pilot IoT-based integrated energy management platform is being rolled out to drive further reductions in electricity use and emissions.
3. Digital Commerce Innovations
Baozun’s DTC digital touchpoint solution, omnichannel product information management system (PIM) and order management system (OMS) received Gartner recognition. The firm also introduced an AIGC-powered intelligent customer service coaching system on its S-ANY platform and upgraded its S-Whiz assistant.
4. Culture and Security
Baozun secured multiple employer accolades in 2025, including Model Employer and Outstanding Employer awards. It also deployed a proprietary PII Vault for full-lifecycle data protection and earned an Excellence in Emergency Response Award in a cybersecurity live-fire exercise.
