Barclays 2026 interim capital and liquidity report shows CET1 ratio steady at 14.3%

Barclays published its 2026 interim Pillar 3 capital and liquidity report, showing a CET1 ratio of 14.3% at June 30.
- CET1 capital rose to GBP 52.24 billion; total RWAs increased to GBP 364.76 billion, leaving the CET1 ratio unchanged versus December.
- Leverage ratio excluding central bank claims was 4.9%; exposure measure rose to GBP 1.35 trillion, driven by higher investment bank trading activity.
- 12-month average LCR fell to 157.7% from 170%; HQLA was GBP 321.21 billion, net cash outflows rose to GBP 203.96 billion.
- Trailing average NSFR was 135.8%, implying a GBP 171.7 billion surplus above the 100% requirement.
