Barclays names Lynne Burns group HR director

Barclays named Lynne Burns Group Human Resources Director, replacing Tristram Roberts, who retired after nearly 13 years at the bank.

Burns joins from Linklaters, where she served as chief people officer.

She previously held senior HR roles at HSBC, including group head of talent, global head of HR for key divisions, and head of HR at HSBC UK.

Earlier in her career, she held leadership posts at Royal Bank of Scotland.
