Barings Corporate Investors posted net investment income of $6.26 million , or $0.30 a share , in the quarter ended June 30.
Net increase in net assets from operations jumped to $19.68 million , or $0.96 a share , from $1.62 million , or $0.08 a share .
Net unrealized appreciation swung to $13.73 million , or $0.67 a share , from net depreciation of $2.59 million , or $0.13 a share .
Net realized losses narrowed to $397,366 , or $0.02 a share , from $2.02 million , or $0.10 a share .
NAV rose to $17.27 a share from $16.71 ; the board declared a $0.40 quarterly dividend payable Sept. 11.
