BD names Ferass Abuzaina worldwide president of Surgery unit

BD named Ferass Abuzaina worldwide president of its Surgery business unit, effective immediately. He will lead global strategy, operations and commercial execution.

1. Leadership appointment

Abuzaina previously served as worldwide vice president and general manager of Advanced Repair and Reconstruction within Surgery. He joined BD in 2013 and has held leadership roles across research and development, strategy and business development.

2. Reporting structure

Abuzaina will be based in Warwick, Rhode Island, and report to Interventional segment president Peter Menziuso.
