Beazer Homes FY26 Q3 net loss widens to $4.2 million; revenue falls 8.3% to $516.31 million

- Beazer Homes posted a net loss of $4.2 million, or $0.16 a share, versus a net loss of $0.3 million a year earlier.
- Revenue fell 5.33% to $516.31 million, as homebuilding revenue dropped 8.3% to $490.87 million on 13.4% fewer closings.
- Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) slid 51.3% to $15.64 million, while homebuilding gross margin edged up 0.1 percentage point to 13.6%.
Orders, backlog and acquisition
- Net new orders rose 4.5% to 900.
- Cancellation rates improved to 15.9% from 19.8%, while backlog value increased 2.2% to $758.5 million.
- Beazer agreed to be acquired by Dream Finders Homes for $33.50 per share in cash, valuing the company at about $2.2 billion.
