Better Home & Finance says buyer consortium escrows £10 million for Birmingham Bank deal
BETR•Better Home & Finance is in talks to sell 100% of Birmingham Bank to a buyer consortium, which has placed £10 million in escrow. The gross price is set at 0.95 times tangible net asset value, about £56 million as of Sept. 30, 2026, and the deal remains subject to approvals and definitive documentation.

B Singh Partners is part of the buyer group, which is backed by three Asian family offices with a combined net worth above $20 billion. Better Home & Finance said its pro forma cash balance would rise to about $140 million, based on its Sept. 30, 2026 cash and estimated sale proceeds. The deal remains subject to approvals and definitive documentation.
