Beyond Meat has debuted its Beyond Steak Filet—packaged with 28 g plant protein, 3 g fiber and only 1 g saturated fat per serving—at Wegmans and H-E-B stores nationwide after topping direct-to-consumer sales. The Clean Label Project–certified, whole-cut offering is the plant-based firm's first steak product in retail channels.
Beyond Meat has introduced Beyond Steak Filet to consumers at Wegmans and H-E-B, marking the product’s first retail availability. This follows its October 2025 direct-to-consumer launch, where it became the site’s #1 selling item by unit volume.
Each serving delivers 28 g of plant protein, 3 g of fiber and just 1 g of saturated fat from heart-healthy avocado oil, and incorporates mycelium for texture. The filet is Non-GMO Project Verified, free of antibiotics and hormones, and one of over 20 products to earn Clean Label Project Certification.
The steak filet represents the company’s first whole-cut retail innovation since Beyond Burger and introduces mycelium as a key ingredient. Widespread retail distribution could broaden revenue streams and strengthen Beyond Meat’s presence in center-of-the-plate offerings.
