B&G Foods, Nortera terminate Green Giant Canada sale agreement after missing regulatory deadline
BGS•B&G Foods Canada ended its agreement to sell Green Giant Canada to Nortera on Oct. 5, 2026, after closing conditions were not met by the Sept. 24 outside date.
1. Sale agreement ends
B&G Foods will continue to own and operate Green Giant Canada while reviewing options that could include a future sale or partnership. Nortera will remain the brand’s primary co-manufacturer.
