Biogen will present 14 abstracts on EMPAVELI® and felzartamab at the European Renal Association Congress (June 3-6, Glasgow) and Transplant Congress (June 20-24, Boston). ERA will show one-year VALIANT/VALE data demonstrating sustained pegcetacoplan efficacy and safety in C3G and IC-MPGN, while ATC highlights Phase 2 felzartamab antibody-mediated rejection results.
Biogen secured acceptance of 14 abstracts for presentation across two major medical meetings: the European Renal Association Congress (Glasgow, June 3–6) and Transplant Congress (Boston, June 20–24). These abstracts cover clinical and biomarker data for EMPAVELI® (pegcetacoplan) and investigational felzartamab in diverse kidney disease settings.
At ERA, Biogen will present post-hoc analyses from the Phase 3 VALIANT study and its VALE extension showing sustained pegcetacoplan efficacy and safety over one year in patients with C3 glomerulopathy (C3G) and primary immune-complex membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (IC-MPGN). Presentations will include data on infection rates, treatment response by disease chronicity and genetic complement dysregulation.
ATC presentations will focus on Phase 2 felzartamab results in chronic antibody-mediated rejection, assessing efficacy across patients with varied rejection histories and prior therapies. The agenda also features a symposium on CD38+ cell biomarkers, pooled EMPAVELI post-transplant data and plans for further nephrology trials.
