BioMarin enters settlement and license agreement with Ascendis Pharma on Sept. 24, 2026
BMRN•BioMarin granted Ascendis licenses for TransCon CNP, navepegritide and Yuvwel. Ascendis will pay royalties of 20% on U.S. sales and 18% on EU, Brazilian and Slovak sales until May 2030, and the companies will dismiss all pending litigation with prejudice.
1. Settlement and license terms
BioMarin said in an SEC filing that it entered a settlement and license agreement with Ascendis Pharma on Sept. 24, 2026. The agreement grants Ascendis licenses for TransCon CNP, navepegritide and Yuvwel. Ascendis will pay BioMarin royalties of 20% on U.S. sales and 18% on sales in the EU, Brazil and Slovakia until May 2030; the companies will dismiss all pending litigation with prejudice.
