BioNTech to present first Phase 2 data on pumitamig plus docetaxel in metastatic lung cancer at ESMO
BNTX•BioNTech will present the first Phase 2 results for pumitamig plus docetaxel in previously treated metastatic non-small cell lung cancer at the ESMO Congress on Oct. 25, 2026. Other Phase 2 data showed preliminary antitumor activity and manageable safety in advanced solid tumors and neuroendocrine neoplasms.
1. ESMO presentations
BioNTech will present new oncology trial data at the ESMO Congress in Madrid, running Oct. 23-27, 2026. The first Phase 2 results for pumitamig with docetaxel in previously treated metastatic non-small cell lung cancer are scheduled for Oct. 25.
2. Other Phase 2 findings
Results for pumitamig combined with elfetabart drozuntecan showed preliminary antitumor activity across advanced solid tumors, with manageable safety and minimal overlapping toxicities. Separate Phase 2 data showed preliminary antitumor activity with manageable safety for pumitamig with chemotherapy in previously treated, unresectable neuroendocrine neoplasms.
