Biophytis advances Hong Kong joint venture for BIO101 development in Asia

Royalty and funding terms
The joint venture is expected to pay single-digit royalties on future sales under the licensing agreement.
Asian partners are set to fund an initial USD 3 million tranche, part of commitments of up to USD 20 million, including USD 10 million in year one.
Hong Kong joint venture moves ahead
Biophytis moved to implement a Hong Kong joint venture, Biophytis Biopharmaceutical Holding LTD, created June 2, 2026.
Planned contribution includes BIO101 patents in China, Japan and South Korea, paired with a license deal covering those markets.
