Bitfarms added six senior leaders averaging over 20 years' experience in power, construction and HPC/AI data center development, including a SVP of Construction and SVP of Power to lead its North American energy portfolio. These strategic hires aim to accelerate U.S. domiciliation and end-to-end build-outs across its HPC/AI infrastructure projects.
1. Leadership Team Expansion
Bitfarms has appointed six senior executives to its leadership team, including Michael Byrne as Senior Vice President of Construction, Christopher Ruppel as Senior Vice President of Power and Paul Peterson as Vice President of HPC Operations. These additions average over 20 years in digital infrastructure, construction and energy project management, bolstering the company’s capacity to execute large-scale builds.
2. Roles and Expertise for HPC/AI Infrastructure
Michael Byrne will oversee end-to-end construction of hyperscale HPC/AI data centers, while Christopher Ruppel will lead power development strategies spanning onsite generation and grid-connected solutions. Kevin Roberts will direct permitting and compliance, and Tara Goldstein and Thomas Tyree III will strengthen marketing and finance functions to support rapid corporate scaling.
3. US Domiciliation and Growth Coordination
All new executives will operate from Bitfarms’ New York office to enhance coordination of HPC/AI build-outs and support the company’s planned U.S. domiciliation. This strategic hub aligns with its 2.1 GW energy portfolio and is designed to accelerate site development for high-performance computing applications.
