1. Bitget Expands US Stock Section with BTGO Listing
On January 23, 2026, Bitget, the world’s largest Universal Exchange, added BTGO—a tokenized stock representing publicly traded BitGo—to its US stock lineup. The new listing enables spot trading of BTGO on the Bitget Onchain platform, granting users 24/7 access to BitGo exposure without requiring brokerage accounts or geographic restrictions. This development underscores Bitget’s UEX vision of unifying digital assets and real-world instruments under a single account for diversified portfolio construction.
2. BTGO Tokenized Stock Offers Crypto-Native Access to BitGo Infrastructure
BTGO grants traders a direct, on-chain gateway to BitGo, a pioneer in institutional digital asset infrastructure since 2013. BitGo’s suite includes multi-signature custody, threshold signature schemes and support for more than 1,400 tokenized assets across multiple blockchains. By tokenizing its equity, BitGo enables retail and institutional users on Bitget to participate in its custody, trading, lending and settlement services through a seamless crypto experience.
3. Extended Zero-Fee Promotion and Market Share Leadership
To celebrate the listing, Bitget extended its zero-fee trading promotion for all tokenized stocks through April 2026. According to data from Ondo Markets, Bitget currently commands an 89% market share for Ondo’s tokenized equities, reinforcing its position as the primary venue for on-chain access to US stocks. The promotion and dominant liquidity pool are designed to attract new traders and increase trading volumes for BTGO and other tokenized securities.
4. Strategic Growth of Bitget’s Tokenized TradFi Offering
With over 125 million registered users and access to more than two million crypto tokens, Bitget continues to broaden its tokenized TradFi suite, which now exceeds 100 equities, ETFs and commodities. The BTGO listing follows recent additions such as major technology and financial services firms, aligning with Bitget’s goal of creating a unified interface where traders can seamlessly navigate between TradFi and DeFi products worldwide.
