BlackLine Q2 revenue rises 9%, slightly beats estimates

BlackLine said preliminary second-quarter revenue rose 9%, slightly beating analyst expectations. Adjusted earnings per share for the quarter was $0.27.
The company reported second-quarter net income of $9.27 million, gross profit of $142.68 million and operating expenses of $131.69 million.
Business drivers and analyst coverage
BlackLine said accelerating adoption and monetization of its Verity AI agents drove platform conversion and direct revenue. It also said deal timing was "noisy" as customers conducted more rigorous, AI-driven evaluations, though demand remained strong.
