Blackstone is backing the launch of defense technology platform Falcata through the acquisition and combination of TSC and Applied Systems Engineering. The combined business will focus on next-generation interceptor technologies for missile defense and related missions, and plans to invest in technology development, manufacturing capacity and hiring to scale production of lower-cost interceptors.
