Block partners with Nova Credit to distribute Cash App Score to external lenders

Block will distribute its Cash App Score to external lenders for the first time through Nova Credit’s Cash Flow Intelligence Platform.

The score uses real-time Cash App signals to assess financial health, shifting from credit-history-only models toward cash-flow-based underwriting.

Lenders will embed the score into existing underwriting workflows through Nova Credit, without new consumer credentialing or third-party logins.

Block uses the score across its consumer lending products; Cash App Borrow approves 38% more customers at the same loss rate.

Partnership details will be presented at Nova Credit’s Cash Flow Intelligence Summit in New York City on Sept. 10, 2026.
