Blue Moon's Q1 Step-Out Drilling Yields 2.08% CuEq over 6.7m at 1.17km Depth
In Q1-2026 Blue Moon’s deep step-out drilling at Nussir logged 6.7m grading 2.08% CuEq at 1,166.5m and 3.0m at 1.19% CuEq at 1,120.7m from mother hole NUS-DD-14-001. Surface infill drilling completed 1,477m with 100% mineralization success, identified a parallel zone 60m above the resource and uncovered two historical drill cores.
1. Deep Step-Out Drilling Results
Blue Moon completed two daughter holes from mother hole NUS-DD-14-001, achieving a 200m lateral step-out intercept of 6.7 meters grading 1.75% Cu, 0.16 g/t Au and 27.91 g/t Ag (2.08% CuEq) at 1,166.5m, and 3.0 meters at 0.86% Cu, 0.16 g/t Au and 27.75 g/t Ag (1.19% CuEq) at 1,120.7m. The newly drilled mother hole NUS-DD-26-07 also intercepted 6.85 meters of mineralization and will support further deep targets pending Q2 assay results.
2. Surface Infill Program Progress
The infill drilling program has completed 1,477 meters of the planned 3,000 meters with a 100% success rate in intersecting mineralization. Highlights include confirmation of mineralization in a previously untested fault-controlled void and discovery of a parallel mineralized zone 60 meters above the current resource horizon, alongside two newly located historical cores.
3. Next Steps and Outlook
Assay results from the deep hole NUS-DD-26-07 and further infill holes are expected in Q2, guiding resource certification and mine planning. With the deposit remaining open to the west and at depth, the program will continue navigational drilling to bridge gaps in the inferred resource and expand multi-generational mine potential.
