Boeing Gains FAA Approval for 42-Jet Monthly Output, $636B Backlog
Boeing secured FAA approval to increase 737 MAX production to 42 jets per month and completed the acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems. The company holds a record $636 billion backlog, outsold Airbus with 1,173 net orders in 2025 and won orders for up to 105 737 MAX jets from Alaska and 60 Dreamliners from Delta.
