SCAT Airlines confirmed a new firm order for five Boeing 737-9 jets and converted five previously placed 737-8 orders to the larger 737-9 model, increasing its total 737 MAX-9 commitment to 10 aircraft.

The expanded 737-9 fleet will boost seating capacity per flight to 220 passengers and enable longer reach operations, including new services from Shymkent to European and Asian destinations.

The 737-9 offers a maximum range of 6,110 kilometers and delivers a 20% reduction in fuel consumption compared with previous-generation single-aisle aircraft.
4. SCAT's Regional Network Growth
As the first Central Asian operator of the 737 MAX family with nearly 40 Boeing jets in service, SCAT will deploy the larger 737-9s on routes such as Prague-Sanya, pioneering seventh-freedom flights across Europe and Asia.
