Bombardier says US aerospace sector wins on trade, highlights $2.5 billion annual supplier spend

Bombardier issued a statement highlighting its U.S. footprint amid trade scrutiny, framing aerospace as a key U.S. export surplus sector.
It cited a supply chain of about 2,800 U.S. companies across 47 states, spending more than $2.5 billion annually with suppliers.
Production, defense and service plans
The group pointed to U.S. production work, including wing manufacturing in Red Oak, Texas, tied to its fastest business jet.
Bombardier also flagged plans to expand defense activities, grow its service network, and open a new facility in Fort Wayne, Indiana later this year.
