Bond markets functioning in orderly manner, IMF says
TLT•The IMF said global bond markets were functioning in an orderly manner after a sharp rise in yields. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield reached 5.34% on Thursday, its highest level since 2002.

“What we see globally is that bond markets are continuing to function in an orderly manner,” IMF spokesperson Julie Kozack told reporters at a press conference.
2. Yields rise globally
The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rose as high as 5.34% on Thursday, its highest point since 2002. It posted its biggest quarterly rise this century in the three months to September, with selling pressure also affecting bond markets in France, Britain and Japan.
