Boot Barn FY27 Q1 net income rises 31.3% to $70.1 million; net sales increase 17.7% to $593.5 million

Boot Barn posted fiscal Q1 net sales up 17.7% to $593.5 million; same-store sales rose 4.7%, led by e-commerce up 13.4%.
Net income climbed to $70.1 million, or $2.29 per diluted share, including an estimated $0.38 per-share benefit from tariff refunds.
Gross margin widened 1.3 percentage points to 40.4%, helped by $14.7 million of tariff refunds recorded in cost of goods sold.
Store growth and outlook
The retailer opened 27 new stores, lifting its store count to 566 at quarter-end.
For fiscal 2027, it forecast net income per diluted share of $8.80-$9.23 on total sales of $2.58-$2.63 billion.
