Boston-bound Delta flight makes emergency landing in Portugal due to smoke in cabin
DAL•Delta flight DL251 from Barcelona to Boston made an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal, after smoke was reported in the cabin. Eight passengers were treated at the airport and three were taken to hospital.

The flight was diverted to Porto following a reported mechanical issue and landed safely, Delta said. The Portuguese emergency and civil protection authority spokesperson said the forced landing was due to smoke in the cabin.
