Boyd Group named Steve Hoeft as U.S. Chief Operations Officer, leveraging his nine years at Bridgestone Americas overseeing a 4,000-location network. Zach Balthrop was promoted to Chief Commercial Officer after leading the South Division since 2024 and will oversee sales, client performance, M&A and marketing.
1. Operational Leadership Appointment
Steve Hoeft joins Boyd Group as Chief Operations Officer for the U.S. collision business. He brings nine years at Bridgestone Americas, including leading the Commercial Truck Group with oversight of 4,000 locations. He will manage U.S. Collision Operations, Mobile Solutions, Procurement, Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence, and Safety functions.
2. Strategic Commercial Role Creation
Zach Balthrop has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer after leading Boyd’s South Division since 2024. Balthrop will oversee sales, client performance, M&A and marketing across all lines of business, aiming to leverage existing resources and expand customer relationships to support Boyd’s growth objectives.
