Banco Bradesco released a transcript of its 2Q26 results videoconference, attended by the CEO, CFO, and the head of the insurance unit.
- Recurring net income rose 16.2% y/y in 2Q26, extending growth to 10 consecutive quarters; total revenue increased 10.3% y/y to R$ 37.6 billion.
- Expanded loan portfolio reached R$ 1.14 trillion in June, up 11.6% y/y, led by SMEs at R$ 267.5 billion and large corporates at R$ 389.4 billion.
- Net interest income climbed 15.7% y/y to R$ 20.9 billion; expanded loan-loss provisions rose 22.6% y/y to R$ 10 billion, with cost of risk at 3.5%.
- Insurance net income totaled R$ 2.9 billion; management highlighted a proposed capital increase of up to R$ 10 billion to lift Tier 1 capital.
