Drug developer Braveheart Bio's BRVE.O shares surged as much as 75.3% in a cracking Nasdaq debut after an upsized $382.5 million U.S. IPO.
- The stock opened at $30.20 apiece versus the $18 offer price; last up 69.9% at $30.59.
- San Francisco, California-based BRVE sold about 21.3 million shares in the upsized IPO at $18 apiece.
- BRVE, which is developing therapies for patients with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other serious cardiovascular diseases, had initially marketed 18.75 million shares priced between $15 and $17.
- Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, TD Cowen, Stifel and Cantor acted as joint book-running managers for the offering.
