SAO PAULO, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Brazilian education firm YDUQS YDUQ3.SA and Nasdaq-listed Afya AFYA.O sealed a merger, Brazilian newspaper O Globo reported on Wednesday, without saying how it got the information.

A material fact on the matter is expected to be issued on Thursday morning, it added. The companies had said last month they were in talks over a potential business combination.
