BrenX advances 12 MWh bGen thermal energy storage project at Wolfson Medical Center
BRNX•BrenX moved the project into its next construction phase, with completion targeted in about 12 months. Baran Energy bought the system and rights for about NIS 7 million, while Wolfson is set to pay about NIS 11.9 million over seven years.

BrenX moved the 12 MWh bGen thermal energy storage system at Wolfson Medical Center in Holon into its next construction phase. Completion is targeted within about 12 months, followed by commissioning and the start of commercial operations.
2. Project terms
Baran Energy bought the system and rights from BrenX for about NIS 7 million, with additional profit-sharing. Wolfson is set to pay about NIS 11.9 million over seven years, with a NIS 1 million end-of-term purchase option. The system is expected to cut about 3,900 tons of CO₂e annually and deliver estimated annual energy cost savings of about USD 1.5 million.
