The divestiture enables BrightSpring to concentrate on its Provider Services division (home health care, personal care and rehabilitation therapy) and pursue expansion of its core service lines.

BrightSpring has completed the sale of its ResCare Community Living business to Sevita, marking the finalization of the definitive agreement first announced in January 2025. The transaction supports continuity of care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and secures employment for staff across multiple states.

2. Strategic Refocus

Following the divestiture, BrightSpring will concentrate on its Provider Services division, which encompasses home health care, personal care and rehabilitation therapy. These services currently reach over 450,000 clients daily, and the company plans to leverage strong quality outcomes to drive geographic and service line expansion.

3. Transition and Integration

The transition process was designed to maintain operational stability, regulatory compliance and workforce continuity. Sevita, which serves 50,000 individuals across 40 states, will integrate ResCare Community Living to enhance programming and extend support to more people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
