Brii Bio reports 41.9% HBsAg loss rate at end of treatment in Phase 2 ENRICH trial
BRIB•Brii Bio reported a 41.9% hepatitis B surface antigen loss rate at the end of treatment in its Phase 2 ENRICH trial. The company presented ENRICH and ENHANCE results supporting BRII-179-based treatment strategies.
1. Trial results presented
Brii Biosciences presented Phase 2b ENRICH and ENHANCE results at AASLD 2026. ENRICH reproduced earlier findings that BRII-179 priming supported sustained hepatitis B surface antigen loss following combination treatment. ENHANCE combination therapy achieved greater antigen clearance than interferon alone, including among participants with higher baseline antigen levels. A separate ENHANCE regimen shortened interferon treatment while maintaining comparable antigen clearance; regimens were generally well tolerated, with no new or unexpected safety signals in the concurrent combination treatment group.
