Brookfield Income Fund Names Aaron Greenberg as Securitized Credit Portfolio Manager
RA•Brookfield Real Assets Income Fund will replace securitized credit Portfolio Manager Justin Guichard with Aaron Greenberg effective June 30, 2026. Greenberg, an Oaktree managing director and Yale graduate, will also oversee the Real Estate Debt strategy and co-manage Structured Credit alongside the existing Brookfield co-portfolio managers.
1. Portfolio manager transition
Brookfield Real Assets Income Fund’s securitized credit allocation portfolio manager, Justin Guichard, will be replaced by Aaron Greenberg effective June 30, 2026. Greenberg has been named Portfolio Manager for the fund’s Real Estate Debt strategy and Co-Portfolio Manager for Structured Credit at Oaktree Fund Advisors.
2. Aaron Greenberg professional background
Greenberg joined Oaktree in 2018 as a Managing Director and previously served as a CMBS trader at Morgan Stanley and head of Deutsche Bank’s secondary trading desk. He holds a B.A. in economics and psychology summa cum laude from Yale University and a certificate from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
3. Continued oversight by Brookfield advisers
Gaal Surugeon, Chris Janus and Riley O'Neil of Brookfield Public Securities Group LLC will continue as Co-Portfolio Managers, retaining authority to adjust strategic allocations across corporate credit, securitized credit and equity securities and oversee day-to-day fund management.
