BEP•Brookfield Renewable Partners moved its special unitholder meeting to October 29, 2026, to allow more voting time; completion of its proposed corporate simplification is anticipated in the fourth quarter, subject to approvals and a final court order.
1. Meeting rescheduled
The virtual special unitholder meeting will take place October 29 at 11 a.m. EDT to consider a corporate simplification into a single listed security. Registered unitholders must submit proxies by October 27 at 5 p.m. EDT; approximately 70% of votes cast by Brookfield Renewable Corporation class A exchangeable subordinate voting shareholders supported the simplification.
