Brookfield Renewable plans NYSE, TSX listing for new BEP Inc shares in corporate simplification

Brookfield Renewable Partners LP began a process to merge BEP and BEPC into a single listed company, Brookfield Renewable Partners Inc.
The new company plans to list its shares on the NYSE and TSX, replacing BEP’s partnership units with one listed security.
BEP units, excluding preferred units, would convert into BEP Inc. shares on a 1-for-1 basis, subject to unitholder approval.
Investor votes are set for Oct. 14, 2026, with eligibility based on holdings as of Aug. 21, 2026.
Closing is targeted for Q4 2026, subject to customary approvals, including exchange acceptance of the new listing.
