Brookfield Renewable Partners’ management attributed growth in third-quarter 2026 funds from operations to contracted cash flows, acquisitions, newly commissioned projects and gains from asset sales. Funds from operations were $346 million, or $0.51 per unit.
Revenue increased $184 million to $1.78 billion, supported by higher realized pricing, business growth and favorable foreign exchange. Direct operating costs rose $292 million, primarily due to higher Colombian power purchases amid lower hydrology, as well as acquisition-related costs and currency effects.
The company reported a net loss of $360 million, compared with net income of $42 million a year earlier, reflecting higher costs and property revaluations associated with tax credits.
